Most memorable outing in Illinois? Catfishing the Illinois River. My pole was pulled in by catfish and was snagged 5 minutes latter by another angler. She reeled in my pole, I reeled in the fish, an 11-pound catfish.

What got you interested in fishing? Going with my dad as a little one.

Favorite species to fish for? Bass, crappie, northern pike

Favorite places to fish in Illinois? Strip mines, Lake Shelbyville and Banner Marsh.
